Hi, We're Ruby’s Old & New

Ruby’s is brought to you by Ali & Joy, two good friends devoted to friends & family, craft (and crafts), nostalgia, and the kind of well-made home goods, paper goods, gifts, and vintage treasures you want to keep forever.  

At Ruby's you can feel good about the purchase you made because you’re shopping small, you’re supporting artists, you’re investing in your community. It's a place you want to lose track of time treasure-hunting with a good friend and (preferably) a warm drink in your hand. With this in mind, we built Ruby’s upon and around the following core values:

Sustainability (but make it easy, cool, & delightful)

Sustainability is the foundation of everything we do at Ruby’s. We run our shop with care and prefer to work with like-minded makers and brands who also prioritize things like:

* thoughtful, ethical production, fulfillment, and shipping
* long-lasting quality instead of disposable quick-fixes
* small-batch goods with soul
* vintage items that celebrate the beauty of giving objects a second life

Ruby’s is a quiet rebellion against mass production and throwaway culture, and a celebration of heritage, ancestry, and the wisdom of those that came before us. Old things can be timeless. New things can be modern keepsakes. Everything here is chosen with the hope that you’ll love it for years.

Every item in the shop, from unique home decor to thoughtfully designed stationery and paper goods, is chosen because it is special. It makes you smile, laugh, remember, or think, oh, they’d love this!

Human-Made, Small-Batch, Community-Centered

Ruby’s exists to uplift real people doing honest to goodness creative work, our favorite folks to partner with in any and all aspects of our business are:

* independent artists
* small-batch makers
* craftspeople keeping old traditions alive
* transparent, ethical brands
* local creatives building community

You will not find fast-fashion, sweatshops, mystery factories, artist dupes, weird AI things (though you may find some Weird Al Yankovic things, he’s a national treasure), or mass-produced fast-consumerism here. We are building this shop around the value of human made, handcrafted, artisan-quality products.
